Bhakti Marga is a path of Love and devotion, a journey from the mind to the heart where we encounter true Love and our Divine Self. Founded in 2005 by Paramahamsa Vishwananda, the Bhakti Marga community consists of hundreds of groups and thousands of likeminded individuals around the globe who are connected through their devotion and Love for the Divine.
Bhakti stands for love and this love is a universal love which everyone carries – Marga stands for the way towards that love within ones own heart, everyone is part of Bhakti Marga.
Paramahamsa Sri Swami Vishwananda
The path to God is through Love. Just Love. Bhakti Marga is a path of devotion – a journey from the mind to the heart where we encounter true Love and our Divine Self. True Love is Unconditional Love from and for the Divine. The bhakti path is centred around developing a personal relationship with the Divine in such a way that unconditional acceptance of oneself blossoms and pure love flows to others. As this Divine Love arises within, so does the self-confidence to apply it in everyday life.
Love
Divine Love is the core, the essence of everything.
Paramahamsa Sri Swami Vishwananda
The core values of the Bhakti Marga path are love, patience and unity. Learning to love ourselves, others and the Divine helps one change from the inside out, inspiring others to do the same. Patience is developed by learning to do one’s dharma (duty) with an attitude of acceptance and devotion. Unity comes as we learn to work together and grow into seeing everyone and everything as an aspect of Divine creation.
God-Realisation
The ultimate spiritual goal of a human existence is to realise the Divine within oneself and in all of creation. At some point along the spiritual journey, one cannot advance beyond the limits of one’s own will and a deep inner ‘calling’ awakens to lead one to the feet of a Master, a Satguru, who can take them all the way to God-Realisation.
In life you will meet many teachers, many spiritual masters, many gurus, only the Satguru can give you the Realisation of God.
Paramahamsa Sri Swami Vishwananda
Paramahamsa Vishwananda is such an enlightened Master. As he lives in eternal union with the Divine, he readily sees beyond the surface into the depths of our soul, and is committed to clearing the path and preparing sincere seekers for the ultimate goal of attaining the Divine. This union is a blessing which is only available through the Grace of a Satguru.
Bhakti Marga Family
To be on the bhakti path is a Divine blessing, it is a rare and precious gift. It is not always an easy path, as it is beyond what the mind can comprehend and others may not understand or be supportive. For this reason, our associations are important.
The bhakti path means awakening the inner heart, the reality of the heart. A devotee is a person who has tasted a drop of this nectar and then starts feeling a great appetite for God, a thirst for more and more Love to taste, to give, to share.
Paramahamsa Sri Swami Vishwananda
When one’s heart has awakened and the hunger for the Divine begins to carry them toward union with God, a growing desire arises to gather with like-minded souls on the same path. Bhakti Marga is the soul family for those on the bhakti path, it offers devotees places to gather, pray, explore and deepen their relationship with the Divine.
As the Bhakti Marga mission spreads across the planet there is a growing need to support those on the bhakti path. Devotees on five continents have lovingly built Bhakti Marga centres, temples and ashrams to meet the needs of their local communities hosting events, teaching classes and conducting daily prayers for the benefit of all.

Bhakti houdt Liefde in. Deze Liefde is universeel en wordt door iedereen gedragen – Marga wijst ons de weg naar de Liefde in ons Hart, iedereen maakt deel uit van Bhakti Marga.
