MANJEERA WORKSHOP
During this first three-hour beginner’s workshop, you’ll learn the basic rhythms of the manjeeras and how to play it with more precision. We’ll also practice how to follow along with the mridanga. This is an important part of learning Indian devotional music, such as kirtan and bhajans, and helps you develop a deeper understanding of the rhythmic side of this music.
