What you can expect:The Shreemad Bhagavatam is one of the most important holy scriptures in Sanatana Dharma. For devotees and followers of Paramahamsa Vishwananda it is one of the 3 main scriptures that we are encouraged to dive into. The Bhagavatam focuses deeply on the relationship between the Lord and His devotees, and is a treasure store of bhakti.
But rather than trying to tackle the whole scripture, which can feel like an overwhelming task for many of us, the “21 Bhagavatam Leelas in 2021” zoom series aims at making us absorb one portion – actually one key leela at a time. Each session is thus centred around one particular story (leela), very interactive, as it is leveraging the power of sangha, where in great company we inspire each other, and it’s also fun, which makes learning a really enjoyable experience. You will receive the essential knowledge based on Guruji’s teachings, presented from different angles. Besides Swami Kurunandha as the main moderator, who will deliver the essential parts of the story and how they relate to our day-to-day lives, each time he will be joined by one guest speaker, who will add a further perspective, and very importantly, each time we will also listen to and watch Guruji’s original commentary and furthermore include anything that enriches the overall learning experience.
So expect a rich, varied and instructive session, where together with devotees and seekers from around the world, our collective aim is to really grasp and learn each of the leelas presented, and have fun at the same time.
